The two year old imported, My Wandy’s Girl, achieved her first victory in a stakes event when this past Thursday, November 24, dominated the 60th edition of the Thanksgiving Day Stakes on the Hipódromo Camarero’s track with the direction of its regular jockey Juan Carlos Díaz.

It was precisely Successful Talent to whom My Wandy’s Girl outperformed entering the last stretch after being threatened by Aracelis Baby M., who was able to be placed within less than two lengths from the pointer, but was not able to keep the advance letting the winner to unlink clear to lead in the last 50 meters of the race.

My Wandy’s Girl covered the distance in 1:24.98, carrying the most part of the $75,620 prize offered for the event. The winner is owned by Wanda Iris stable and trained by Samuel Díaz.

The Pick-6 payed $14,183.40 with six winners and $42.25 with five. The winning digits are: 4 – 2 – 9 – 10 – 8 – 2.
